LOL no, you're all missing mine. I get it that it was something Ubuntu broke. But the point I'm trying to make is that it's something that LO needs to get a handle on internally *anyway*, sooner or later. So why not now?

No the problem is not there AFAIK. I only said that I do not have such
localization problems with the generic Linux version. So the problem
have to be solved on the Ubuntu side, not on the LibreOffice side.

You're wrong in the sense that Tools > Options > LS will only allow you to switch between languages you have actually chosen to install manually during the install process. In my case, I can only choose Gaelic or English in the dropdown for the UI. If I wanted French, I would have to... oh I don't know what I'd have to do on Ubuntu but on Windows I'd have to download the install file again, run it and in the Manual Setup choose a different language. There is no way that I have discovered yet which, once installed, will allow you to add or remove a UI language from inside LO.

I think in terms of languages, during the install process they shoudl be
downloaded instead of having individual seperate installers in my honest
opinion.

Still, he will have to calm down if he wants to be heard. I just don’t
like to receive his rantings and assumptions (“Same goes with your
localization, but obviously you do not care”, WTH does that mean?),
sorry. He needs to bear in mind that we are volunteers doing this in
our free time.
