Advanced filter macro problem with 7.1.2.2

I'm attempting to upgrade from 6.0.7.3 to 7.1.2.2.  My current spreadsheet has many macros, all of which run but for one which executes an advanced filter.  I receive no error message but the macro simply doesn't filter.  Instead, it blanks all data and displays only column headers.

I built a test advanced filter using the help example which runs correctly when executed manually.  However, when I record the same test as a macro it also fails when run.  Again, I receive no error message but it simply doesn't filter as explained above.  Is there a problem executing advanced filter macros with 7.1.2.2?
