Following on from a discussion about Basque on another list I put word out that Basque is stalled on 88% and the response I've had is that some folk have tried but that Manuel Pascual, the currently nomiated lead, wasn't committing. Now I'm not criticizing anyone as I don't know the ins and outs. I'm just wondering if Manuel is actually the Basque lead or just a locum admin for Basque when LO forked and if he's still actively working on Basque. And following on from that, if there's an opportunity to give at least partial rights to new people?

I can't speak for Manuel, but just for the record, it looks like he has been doing something for LibO at some point, see https://translations.documentfoundation.org/accounts/MPascual/ .

Regarding the rights for new people, I don't think that would be a problem, unless Manuel would respond to this thread and explain the situation differently.

Since Manuel hasn't responded, Asier has asked me if we could give rights to him (account name "asiersar") so he can maintain the Basque translation and build a team?

I'll also suggest to him he join this list.

Sure, we can add him, as soon as Pootle's permission pages work again.
This is why I scheduled a Pootle maintenance for tomorrow.
