Calc on a Form

I have created a Spread sheet and have cells with results. Mostly the number of days between dates. I have been able to create a Table with this data and then a Form in database. What I am trying to do is have the number of days between two dates on the Form. First not sure what pulldown for the table field I should use (such as numeric or variable etc.) and is it possible to do a Calc on a Form?
I don’t mind reading the Docs, just can’t seem to get started to where I locate this info to start. Final outcome would to have a Form that a user can enter date data and have the result field (days) on the Form. (Protected of course)

Hopefully someone here can give a better answer than rtfm tho! I'm not
even sure the documentation will have a close enough example for this
specific case but it might help you understand Base better, hopefully!

Can you rephrase this part of the question.

I'm not sure if you want the number of days on the spreadsheet, or the
database, or somewhere else.
