Calc: Sluggish response from version 5.3.2.2

I installed

Version: 5.3.2.2 (x64)
Build ID: 6cd4f1ef626f15116896b1d8e1398b56da0d0ee1

Windows 10

yesterday. It seems to be running slowly, particularly scrolling and altering column widths (you can see the latter proceeding in jumps).

I am editing the same spreadsheet as I was under 5.3.1 (installed 28 March).

Has anyone else noticed a change in responsiveness?

I have had to revert to 5.3.1: the spreadsheet works fine there.
