calc/update problem

I have all my spreadsheets set up the same way. They use about half the vertical screen. Every time a new update comes along, the cell spacing gets slightly changed. This means part of the next cell appears at the bottom of the sheet or when I move to the bottom cell it spaces up one when it shouldn't.

Is there anything I can do about this?
