delete hidden formated text in odt

If you're referring to eliminating the formatting, then I think
you'll have a non-formatted document;
          if so, then using a simple text document should do this.

       The only one I know that still exists is Notepad - once placed on
all MsFt machines, but now not;
          I still have it - saved from my older machine - & would be glad
to upload to you if you so wish.

Thank you for your quick response, but I do not want to remove the format
information rather the the string itself.

Hallo,

replacing text with respect to a lot of properties is easy in LO.

However the replace function does not offer to find and replace hidden
formated strings.

Has anybody an idea, why this is impossible?
