Description in Unit #117795332 for protection in Navigator question

Hello @ll,
while trying to translate
https://translations.documentfoundation.org/de/libo_help/translate/swriter/guide.po#unit=117795332
into German, I seem to have found a misleading description ... :frowning:

The above mentioned segment reads
<quote>
For whole table, right-click on the table in the Navigator, and
choose <emph>Table - Unprotect</emph> in the context
menu.<br/>␠␠␠␠␠␠␠␠␠␠␠␠␠␠␠␠Or select the whole table and
choose <emph>Tools - Unprotect Cells</emph> in menu bar.
</quote>

But also switching LO's UI language to English does not show this
menu entry ... :frowning: There are only "Edit...", "Delete" and "Rename".
Is this a missing feature or a help text for an older LO version?

Tested with
OS: Debian Testing AMD64
LO: Version: 5.2.4.2.1+
Build-ID: 1:5.2.4-2
CPU-Threads: 4; BS-Version: Linux 4.5; UI-Render: Standard; VCL:
gtk3;
Gebietsschema: de-DE (de_DE.UTF-8); Calc: group
(Debian's own version)

but also with

LO: Version: 5.3.0.1
Build ID: 3b800451b1d0c48045de03b5b3c7bbbac87f20d9
CPU Threads: 4; OS Version: Linux 4.5; UI Render: default; VCL:
gtk2; Layout Engine: new;
Locale: de-DE (de_DE.UTF-8); Calc: group
(parallel installed, following the instructions from
https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Installing_in_parallel/Linux)

I hope, someone can give some insight to my question ... :wink:
Sorry for the inconvenience
Thomas.

You fail to write wich of the two ways you tried.

There are only "Edit...", "Delete" and "Rename".

This is pointless, are master projects are for 5.3/master only.

LO: Version: 5.3.0.1

For the menu entry to appear in navigator's context-menu, you have to
first protect cells.
In Menu, it should appear anyway (but in deactivated mode when there
are no protected cells in the selection)

ciao

Ah, yes. now I have found it ... :slight_smile: I was expecting an inactive
entry there.

In Menu, it should appear anyway (but in deactivated mode when
there are no protected cells in the selection)

O.K.
Thanks for your answer
