Do we get a fresh dump from OOo Pootle?

Hi,
We the Danish team has been working on both OOo Pootle and LibO Pootle
lately. We would very much like the translations on OOo Pootle to be
integrated in LibreOffice.

Would someone be so kind to give us a hand?

Language: da (Danish) both GUI and Help.

Thanks,

Leif Lodahl
Danish Team.

Hi Leif,

Did you work on OOo 3.3 translation in OOo Pootle? I can help you to merge
fixes from OOo 3.3 translation to LibreOffice 3.3 translation. You need to
give me the URL of the latest OOo 3.3 po files or sdf file.

On page
http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/index.php?title=Translation_for_3_3 we
can read: "We use translations (.sdf files) from the OOo repository. We
included the latest translation fixes from CWS ooo330l10n4." However, these
files were patched a few times lately (URL changes, Oracle -> %OOOVENDOR,
etc.). So I need to reapply those changes to your new OOo 3.3 translation.

Best regards,
Andras

Hi Andras,

Hi,
We the Danish team ...

Hi Leif,

Did you work on OOo 3.3 translation in OOo Pootle?

Yes because we didn't make it before deadline. Primarily because we
focused on translating LibO at that time. OOo rejected to include
translations after the deadline so we continued our work on LibO since
november. So not many changes has been made but there are a few
translations and corrections.

The UI is most important!

I can help you to merge

Thanks. Do you need the full files or only the diff?

Oh I see. The question is if you effort will be too huge in comparison
with our value.

Most important changes are in the UI. Perhaps we should transfer only
the UI to avoid to make things too complicated. U suspect the
%OOOVENDOR to be in help files primarily.

Best regards,
Andras

I am novice in Pootle and I don't know if you are looking for the
complete translation or only the changes. I also don't know how to get
.sdf files from the po-files.

Any suggestions?

I really appreciate you help

Cheers,
Leif

Full files please.

1-2 hours work on my side, don't worry. If all teams sent corrections, then
I would be in trouble, but so far I only had to deal with Croatian, Breton,
Telugu and now Danish. Hopefully LibreOffice 3.3 will be released soon and
we can move to a better l10n process instead of hacking that goes on now.

Any suggestions?

Please send both UI + Help, full files (PO files if you work with PO). I

can convert them.

Best regards,
Andras

The upstream translation and the LibO one is separate for now, so this
one should be quite easy.
The Danish team probably do as I do, work on both.

As far as I know, there's no need to submit any GSI/SDF manually, as the
GIT repo have
tools to parse newly added PO files and convert these automatically.
However, I've missed
out on the details since this part was modified.

If you still want to make a file and parse it with e.g gsicheck:
http://translate.sourceforge.net/wiki/toolkit/oo2po#oo2po_and_po2oo

Olav a.k.a the Norwegian team.

Not unless you're asked to do so.
