Draw: Connectors change position when I close and open LibreOffice 3.3.0

The connectors on my Draw document are acting weird. I made a drawing in
Draw, saved it, and closed LibreOffice. The next day, I opened the same
drawing and duplicated a slide (Insert -> Duplicate Slide). Weird thing is
the position of the connectors change (original vs. duplicate slide) when
the new slide is inserted. This didn't happen when I was editing the file on
the same day I created it.
A bug perhaps?

On a related note: I noticed that merely changing the color of connector
changes the position of the connector too. :frowning:

Can you provide an image of what you really get?

Thanks,

Gianluca

I have attached sreenshots of the original slide and the duplicate slide
(both are in the same file *.odg file)

Ooops. Images can't be sent via the list. I'll upload links in a while.

Duplicate is at

I've tried to duplicate the issue, but I'm not able to do so.

Can you provide a test document too?

Thanks,

Gianluca

I created a test-document that reproduced this problem (on Windows) too

Dupicating the slide has the same problem when doing this on openSUSE,
therefore this does not seem to be a platform specific issue?

Thanks Luuk.

I'm on Windows too.

OK, I can confirm the weird behavior of the connectors while duplicating a slide on Windows Vista HE.

It occurs even if I don't close LibreOffice.

Have you checked if there already is something similar on LibO bugzilla?

Regards,

Gianluca

After a preliminary check, there isn't anything like this bug.

Let me know if I have to file it or you'll do it by yourself.

Gianluca

Thanks,

The line from the top rectangle down, has the property "Keep ratio" checked.
  (rightclick, Position and Size ...)
Or just try what happens if you move the top rectangle a bit upward.

Changing that property, makes that it behaves correct when duplicating the slide and when copy/paste the whole picture.

Nevertheless, still a (small) bug, I guess.

Cor

So, should we file it?

The connectors in my drawing doesn't have the "Keepi ratio" checked, but the
line positions still change when I duplicate the slide. :frowning:

Has anyone tried it on another platform? Perhaps it's just a Windows bug.

The "keep ratio" option is selected in the *duplicated* slide. That's the bug.

Luuk tested it on OpenSUSE and the bug is there too.

Gianluca

Ah! I misunderstood it.

I tested it again though. The duplicated slide doesn't have the "Keep ratio"
checked. But the line is still askew.

I dont see this "Keep ratio" being checked....

But when i 'move' the upper rectangle, the 'same' thing happend to the
connector (it moves...)

Most stangly, when correcting the position of the connector after this move,
and than duplicating the slide solves the problem tooo.

Its nog a small bug, its an annoying bug....

Have you tested Luuk's document or your original one?

Gianluca

I tested my original one.
