Editing rights for Pootle

Hi

A posting regarding L10N for RC, I saw that German Translation is far from 100%.
I would like to offer some help for German Translation.

However, I couldn't find a link to a proper How-To procedure for start helping on translations.

I just registered on http://translations.documentfoundation.org.

While doint some translations (and pressing next), I found that the translations are lost.

Do I need special rights? (Editing rights?)

Could you provide them? Thanks in advance.
However, it is not on above thunderbird eMail-Account.
My account on pootle is 'rgloor', my eMail there 'rgloor (at) glr.ch'.

Yep. Noone has edited the relevant wiki page to mention Pootle so far...

That's a common mistake. "Next" just moves over to the next translation, and does not submit what you have entered. Instead, you should press either "Submit" or "Suggest" button, depending on what rights you have.

I gave you the rights necessary to download project archives and to add suggestions. To acquire more permissions, you should ask German language leads listed in http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Language_Teams .

I've just added Pootle to

http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/LibreOffice/i18n/translating_3.3

Great. Could you put a plain redirect from the obsoleted page and delete its contents instead of just adding a paragraph at the top?

OK, I deleted the contents there. I can't do automatic redirect but I
hope it's not confusing.
