Hi
By the sounds of it one of the mirrors is misbehaving. I'm not sure
how to choose different mirrors but if you can then choosing a French
one or any other non-default one might solve the problem. Hopefully
the websites team might solve the problem fairly soon.
My initial suggestions were to "scope out" the parameters of the
problem. Wireless connections are often quite flaky flaky.
Torrenting deals with flaky connections quite neatly by allowing
partial downloads to be continued later on. To some extent just
normal web-browsers can also help with that but torrenting is very
much better at ensuring you get exactly everything you wanted to
download. Normal web-browsers are not always perfect at that as they
don't have constant checking and verifications built-in. Also they
sometimes restart downloads rather than just continuing from whatever
bits they did manage to get on previous attempts. Internet Explorer
often seems to cause problems but the rest are usually reasonably
good.
