File-Send-Document As doesn't!

LO 4.3.5.2 on Ubuntu 14.04 with Thunderbird as default email client.
I click on any of the File-Send options, TBird opens up a new message
window with no attachment, nothing. No sign of the document at all.
Seems the Send to Email is broken?

Sounds like it might be time to post a bug-report?

Have you tried renaming the User Profile and rebooting the machine and
fairly simple stuff like that?

Any chance of trying the 4.4.0?

I'm running LO 4.3.5.2 on my Mac, and all send options open up my email client with an new message with the appropriate file included.
So, for me the functionality works.

Works perfectly in Windows 8.1 with TBird 31.3.0 and LO 4.3.5.2...

Renaming User profile and installing 4.4.0 has no effect - it works
perfectly OK in Windows 8.1 with LO 4.3.5.2.... :wink:

4.2.7 on Mint 17 here; failed miserably until I went to Tools|Options and under Internet explicitly set /usr/bin/thunderbird as the email client. Worth a whirl?

That works! But the user shouldn't have to do that.....

I had to add the /usr/bin/thunderbird and then it worked fine.

But I agree this should be automated some how.

I entirely agree.

But it's by no means the worst of the irritating anomalies in lo.

Ok, sounds like it migth be good to post that as a "feature request".
With a bit of luck it might even be an "Easy Hack" and thus be helpful
to someone just starting out under a mentor or something.
