Hi,
There is a «fixme» at the ca-xv language on the download page (also on
asturian and many others). What does it mean? Should we do something
about it?
Thanks!
Pau

If you can provide the name in your language like for me French -> français, I think it will fix the fixme
Kind regards

Yeah, maybe we should list those languages:
* ast (Asturian)
* brx (Bodo)
* ca-XV (Catalan (Valencian))
* dgo (Dogri)
* kid – This says Koshin, but if I remember correctly, it's actually a "Key ID" pseudolanguage, and it should simply be dropped from the list.
I think we can actually get the other localized names from Wikipedia:
* ast – Asturianu
* brx – बोडो
* ca-XV – ask Pau
* dgo – डोगरी or ڈوگرى
Also note that we don't have brx or dgo files in Pootle, which means we also don't have teams for those languages. I wonder how well OpenOffice.org is translated into these languages.
Rimas
Ok!
Catalan (Valencian) » Català (valencià)
(it is important that the «v» of «valencià» goes in lowercase)
Thanks!!!
Pau
brx and dgo have most of the UI translated. They may be a bit outdated.
Andras
By the way!
The Catalan (Valencian) translation on OpenOffice.org is OK, but they
haven't updated since December.
One quick question: we still have time to update translations on
OpenOffice.org pootle so that they can be included on LibreOffice? If
so, I won't sleep today updating that ca-xv translation on
OpenOffice.org.
Thanks!
Pau
Hi Pau,
AFAIK the tree is frozen now, I would suggest not to stay awake all
night today. The deadline for last translation fixes was on last
Sunday and I have not heard about a new possibility. However, your
fixes are welcome for the next bug fix/l10n fix release, so your work
will not be wasted.
Best regards,
Andras
Thanks for the info, Andrea. I'll work on it.
Regards,
Pau
Thanks Pau!
Sophie, can you please pass this list of languages on to the appropriate person, for naming them correctly on the download page?
* ast – Asturianu
* brx – बोडो
* ca-XV – Català (valencià)
(it is important that the «v» of «valencià» goes in lowercase)
* dgo – डोगरी
(the OOo localization uses Indic script, so I guess we should write the name in that script too)

Resending with an additional instruction:

Also, the kid (Koshin) language should be dropped from the list because it's not Koshin, but key-ID pseudolanguage which I think (hope) is not available in the release builds.
Rimas
Done, thanks all for the fixes
Kind regards
Sophie
