Font size settings in paragraph styles

LO 6.4.7.2 in Ubuntu 20.4

Normally over the years with all my Writer documents I've been able to set font sizes in pts for H1, H2, H3, H4 etc heading styles with no problems. In the past couple of weeks I've come across documents where the font sizes are specified as % for these heading styles (other styles appear to be still directly set in pt values).

I've not been able to find any reference to this in the help files. Is there a way to drop the % settings and revert to direct setting in pts?

Thanks,

Philip

Can't you do either - % or pt - just by so specifying?

john

Greetings,

When you go in the Font tab, you can specify a size in points by
entering a value followed by "pt" (ex 14pt). This will flip the display
from percentage to points. You could also put a percentage value (ex
130%) to flip back to a percentage. This seems to work only for
children styles where the percentage is versus the font size defined
for the parent. It looks like the panel "remembers" so when you open
again it shows the same units as the ones you entered (not sure if it
is remembered from session to session - something to try later).

I hope this helps.
Rémy.

Thanks to John and Remy - I was expecting to find an option to check or a flag to set. It hadn't occurred to me that it was sufficient to type in pt or %.

I've restored pts where I want them and happiness to my soul.
