Formulas displaying in a cell

Hello,

I can’t figure out why I have certain cells displaying the formula and not the results.

I’m using calc version 5.0.4.2.

Cells x12 and x13 in the attached file show the problem.

Also, if I cut and paste the formula from x11 it does the same thing.

The same problem exists with OpenOffice but the problem does not exist in Google Sheets.

Any ideas?

By the way, will I get emails of any replies to this problem or is there someplace I go to see comments?
