French language and spell checker not working

Hi everybody,

I installed 4.3 french version and the interface is in French. Good.I
have the spellchecker set to French, but it only displays US Englisg
suggestions. I've attached a screen shot and when I right click the _je
m'apele_ it should suggest _appelle_, and not _apple_ _Apple_. Not that
in the screenshop you can see French is selected for the page at the
bottom.

Language is a character setting so you have to check that the language
indicated in the character dialog box, on the Font tab is French. You
can see it easily also in the status bar, it should be indicated French
(France) which gives the language of the document.

The box at the bottom said French and this still produced English words. I'll try again , if I was too quick!
