Good mailmerge, well done mailmerge... Errr, not quite

very strange indeed.

Could you attempt again, first checking all the settings to be sure
they are what you desire them to be;
if it happens yet again, then maybe it's time to report yet
another bug.

From the one still using 3.4, awaiting a bug-free LO edition before
up-dating

Err, what settings do you mean?
I tried this twice. Both times only the first sheet was landscape,
all the others were portrait, which is the layout of the Writer merge
document. What settings should I check?

It's a mailmerge of a single address sheet with a query that holds
(at the moment) 223 rows.

This is LO 4.1.4.2 under Fedora 19 x86_64

Doh!

I meant, of course, "only the first sheet was *portrait* all the
others were, correctly, *landscape*".

Hi
In Writer you can set the first page to have different formatting from
the rest of the "book" so that it could be a title page or cover or
something. In Calc i suspect you can set each work-sheet to be
different. I think that is what Anne-ology is alluding to. I'm not
clear about all that myself. This guide might help or might just be
worth skimming through anyway

Errr, i think it's just the chapter 3 about Styles

Ah, ok, I didn't know that, thanks.

However, the situation is that if I save the output of the mailmerge directly as a pdf (good
LO, I didn't know that was a possibility) I get this behaviour, whereas if I save the exact
same mailmerge output as an odt document and then save *that* as a pdf, all the pages are,
correctly, landscape.

It is a single page document that I mailmerge from, tho' I s'pose that could still have a
"first page" options set. However, the fact that there is a difference between the two
different save strategies, surely, indicates a bug. Doncha think?

Sounds like no-one else has come across this behaviour though.
