Hello all, need help with L10N HR

Hi all,

I'm l10n hr team member for Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird.
Since we have those two at 100% translation I was thinking to contribute some time to LO when I can.
Not promising I'll be very active but maybe I can help get HR translation little closer to 100%.

Where do I need to ask for Pootle permissions?
I created account at Pootle, "Mikeyy", so if anyone here can grant me permission there for HR local that would be great.

LibreOffice 3.3 UI was fully translated to Croatian. The translator
was Robert Sedak at that time. But he did not continue the work. I
gave you rights in Pootle. Thanks for volunteering.

Quick question.
If I translate strings for 3.6 version UI, will same strings in 4.0 version be updated also?

Never worked with Pootle. Using Notepadd++ for Mozilla work. :slight_smile:

No, unfortunately not. And 3.6 has a slightly different .po file
format. I think you should rather work on 4.0. Work for the future,
not for the past. :slight_smile:

Hi Mihovil,

I am working on Serbian LibO localization and I wish you welcome too.

Are you in contacts with HULK team and Robert Sedak? There may be others
to help you with the localization. Robert worked on OOo and LibO for a
long time and I had no idea he is not working on the project anymore.

Do you plan to work on UI or translating LibreOffice help content is
also a goal?

Do you have some contacts with Marko Tadic and his team from FFZG.hr
about using data from HML to improve spellcheck dictionary? Right now
LibreOffice is shipping Croatian dictionary by Denis Lackovic. Do you
have a same Croatian spellcheck dictionary in Firefox?

Croatian hyphenation patterns are ported from TeX. Back in OOo 3 time I
sent some fixes for wrong encoding in hyphen data files. I do not
remember if that was merged but should be easy to check if hyphenation
is working correctly for Croatian in LibreOffice now.

You may write me off list too.
