help note icons broken

Ho Everyone,

I just install LibreOffice 5.3.5.2 win64 - from the usual prerelases directory - with the associated italian help pack and I see that the note icons in the help pages are all broken.

I don't know if it is a problem of all platform.

What do you think about?

I get the same problem with version 5.3.5.2 x64 under Windows 7. I tested
with several help packs (including the English US for 5.3 and Portuguese PT
for versions 5.3, 5.2, 5.1 and 5.0)

I'm not sure if this has been broken for years in the Help packs...

In LO 6 I get the icons.

In the help click on the placeholder so that is gets green handles. Copy it to clipboard by shortcut key Ctrl+C. Paste it in a Writer document. Open its property dialog and look at the tab "Image", what you see in the field "Link". For me it is vnd.libreoffice.image://helpimg/media/helpimg/note.png

That means, that LO is looking for the image in a file images_helpimg.zip.

For an older version it might be
vnd.libreoffice.image://tango/res/helpimg/note.png

Then LO would look for the icon in a images_tango.zip file.

Then goto the installation folder, then to subfolder "share" and therein subfolder "config". Do you see such file? If it is not there, then there has been an error in packing and you should write a bug report.

Images, which are only used in the help, were removed from the icon-themes and put into its own file.

To get your icons, download a developer version, which has language support, install it and copy the file into your productive LO version.

Or.. The file is only 575KB. So if you drop me a note, I can email you the file directly.

Confirmed but just 5.3.4.2 -> 5.3.5.2

The 5.3.4 and earlier builds placed the helpimg into the share/config
<images_icon theme>.zip /res directory

And, at 5.4.0.3 the directory is present in the
share/config/images_helpimg.zip /media/helpimg where it is supposed to be
for the rework of the off-line help system.
