Dear Sir/Madam

I many times download Libreoffice in English language. However I want to instal it it automaticaly installed in German language. How I can instal the program in English.

Hi :slight_smile:
1. Open the German language version.

2. Go to the longest menu. In English it's "Tools". It's about 3rd
menu in from the far right or about 7th from the left.

3. Click on the bottom option. In English this is called "Options"

4. In the white panel on the left-hand side click on the 3rd
triangle. In English this is "Language Settings"

5. Click on the top line of the 2 option that present themselves. In
English this is called "Languages" (the other is called "Writing Aids)

6. In the right-hand side you should see many "drop downs", tick
boxes and stuff. Don't panic!! :slight_smile: Just go to the top drop-down
selection thing and click on it.

7. One of the options in that top selection thing has brackets with
uk or us inside
"(uk)" or
"(us)"
click on either.

8. Now click on the "Ok" button! It's the one on the far left (i
think) the other 3 buttons are "Cancel", "Help" and "Revert"

9. Deal with the pop-up, just tell it everything is all good and you are happy

10. Close LibreOffice and then reopen it.

If it is still not in English then you are probably on Windows and do
as above but in step 8 use the button on the far right instead.
