How to Access Edit Mode

I wish to edit a Read-Only spreadsheet document, but cannot find the Edit
Mode button - it is not displayed under the Edit tab. How do I get to it?

On my read only docs, I switch on Edit Mode in the Edit menu. On my version, 6.4.5.2, Edit mode is the last entry on the Edit menu drop down list and has a check box.

My bad. Did not realize that PC had a down level version. After installing
latest version, all is well. Sorry for the inconvenience, and thanks for all
you do for the community!
