How to report problems with original strings in Weblate?

Hi,

Pootle had a feature that let me report a typo or other issue with the
original string directly in the web interface while translating. What will
be the respective workflow in Weblate?

Case in question: I suspect the English string for ID "SEFWn" in 6.4 should
be "Color" rather than "Filter". Its context is "
notebookbar_groupedbar_compact|ColorButton" and in 6.3 the text was
"C_olor".

Cheers,
Mihail

Hi Mihail,

while your question in general is surely justified, in this case you have no need to report an error. The error was in 6.3 (and perhaps in earlier releases, too), "Filter" in 6.4 is correct, see
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=128927

There is no such way to report a string in Weblate, but send me the
permalink of the string and tell me the typos you found (in English

Actually there is!
If you select some kind of notification for "New comment" at
https://weblate.documentfoundation.org/accounts/profile/#notifications (can
be done for all projects or also only specific projects), then you get an
email when someone adds a source string comment (or a comment on a language
which you translate).

Maybe it would make sense to create a "dummy" account on Weblate for this
mailing list and then subscribe that account for comments on Weblate...
