Hyperlink not active on images

Hello everybody,

I have an hyperlink problem: the ⌘-click doesn't activate the showed link when applied on a picture/ graphic, it just selects the picture. ⌘-clicking a text works fine as well as ctrl-click an image in Windows XP.

Thanks in advance for helping

Hi Tom,

thanks for your answer.

When you "Export to Pdf" does the link work in the Pdf even without using the ⌘ ?

no, it doesn't work

In the editable file when you do the equivalent of right-clicking the image and get the pop-up dialogue box and then click on the relevant tab does it still show the url starting with http?

yes it does and the same link works flawlessly on text

I have found that when i have an image inside a frame i tend to get the hyperlink either in the image or in the frame but seldom in both and that can cause some confusion. At first i started putting the links into both or deliberately used the fact they could be different to do 'clever' things but fairly soon i realised i didn't need the frames at all and that the whole document looked better without them.

My guess is that you haven't fallen into the same tricky trap as me but it's worth asking just in case you are.

no, it's unfortunately a different trap…

Thanks a lot and best regards
Luciano

Hi
Did you ever manage to solve this issue?

My email client went somewhat weird with some new update meaning i have to try to figure out a new work-flow.  The Users List also seems to have become uncharacteristically quiet although that might just be due to my email-client misrepresenting things
