Image mapping doesn't work in Impress

Hi,

I'm using LibreOffice version 4.2.6.2 Arch Linux build-3.

In Impress I'm trying to use the image map tool.

When I finished an image map creation, I did run the slide show but it
doesn't work.

On the image there is three hotspots and these hotspots are associated
with three slides in the same presentation.

Such an URL is like:
file:///Adatok/Iskola/SzakmaiTovabbKepzesem/Portfoliom/AkkredProgramLetrehozasa/2014/ArduinoAkkrPrgBemutatoi/01_AkkrPrg_Arduino_20141516.odp#18

The #18 is the slide number in the presentation.

I tried to use #SlideName instead of #18 but it doesn't work too.

Yesterday the same hotspots works only in Normal View ( but not when
running the slide show ), yesterday it doesn't work even in Normal
View.

Is this a bug?

Hi
I have no idea about this sort of thing. The url given only works on the
local machine.

The problem is that that it doesn't work even on my local machine.

You might want to use some file-sharing service such as
drop-box or something.

So, the image mapping can one uses only with http URL's?

Alternatively there is something very neat in Nabble that lets you upload
files and also injects the http-type url link into the message for you so
you don't have to worry about that.

Are you talking about
https://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/nabble/ ?

This website doesn't work here.
I can see only the following text:

Nabble Forums

This is the Nabble interface to our Users Support Mailing List.
Nabble provides a forum like interface to discussions happening on mailing list.

Register and browse Nabble below.

Bellow this text is a circle with Loading... text, but nothing happen.

I think I can't use the Nabble Forum.

Hi
Hmmm, if the link does not work on your local machine then i'm not sure
what to suggest.

Is the link supposed to be to a photo (or other image) or is it meant to be
to the whole document? I mean is that link the one that is inside your
document?

To use Nabble you do have to register first. After that you can use Nabble
to post replies to any message that you also get by email. It's a
duplication but Does mean you have 2 tools that look at the same thing.
Each tool has it's own advantage. Nabble's advantage is that it lets you
add files and images to the posts. Email blocks attachments.

The link is supposed to be to a Slide in the same document of the presentation.

As I sed before in this thread, on the website:
https://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/nabble/

I just can't even register, because the web site doesn't work here.

I can see only the "Loading..." image forever..

This is due to the fact the link [1] is used in HTTPS, when using
HTTP, it is working flawlessly. I reported the problem in the
infrastructure team.
