Impress slide background

I am just beginning to learn Impress. I am in the process of creating my
first slide presentation. For my first slide, I used one of the "Available
for use" slide "Master Pages" After adding my text on the slide, I pressed
F5 to view the slide full screen. (I still have an old 1280x1024 monitor.)
At full screen, the colored background that was part of the Master Slide
only filled part of the background. How do I make it fill the whole
background?

I am using LOO Version: 4.1.3.2
Build ID: 410m0(Build:2}

On Linux.

It depends on how this master page has technically been created. There exist two often used ways: Put the graphic into the page background property, or put an image on the master slide. Therefore, please tell us, which of the "Available for use" designs do you have used.

Kind regards

Regina - thank you for your interest. I was trying to use the slide named
"Vintage". But I have since learned how to create my own slides. Thank you
so much for wanting to help. I may be back later for something else!
Bless you,
Jerry
