Index of Tables doesn't update

I am writing a document for a client (translating it from Spanish to
English), and it requires an Index of Tables.

I successfully planted such an index after the table of contents, but when
I do

All Indexes and Tables

the Table of Contents updates with all relevant headings, but nothing
happens in the Index of Tables.
It's not listing the tables.

This is with LO4, both on Debian Wheezy and on Windows 7.

Any an all assistance appreciated, in advance.

LibreOffice 4.0 or LibreOffice 4.1?

Works fine for me with 4.0.6 on Debian Wheezy.

Does tables have captions? Check again how Index of tables is inserted, try delete it and insert it again.

Hi :slight_smile:
I was going to suggest checking the styles. For the Table of Contents
things have to be in a header style is there something similar for
indexes (indices?). I think deleting the table and re-inserting might
flag up if something like that is going wrong.

Not any better (possibly not even as good), sorry too!
