Sorry about that, I did not see the part mentioning Fedora.

Could not find anything on "lemongrass kernel fedora" either.

I notice that your kernel is from Rutgers. They are doing some amazing things with computers lately.

The kernel you have may be modified for special reasons.

When looking at forums where a similar problem is reported, the common
thread is CPU micro code updates. If that is your case, it would
explain why the problem occurs on that workstation in particular and
not the others that have "different CPUs"; maybe you should start
investigating there.

If I look at my configuration, my software environment is very similar
to yours, but I do not have the issue:

Linux tardis 4.8.10-200.fc24.x86_64 #1 SMP Mon Nov 21 17:55:46 UTC 2016
x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

LibreOffice Version: 5.2.3.3 (LibreOffice_5.2.3_Linux_x86-64)

However, my hardware is totally different (from outputs of dmidecode
and content of /proc/cpuinfo):
