l10n bugs to fix for LibreOffice 3.4.4

I'm aiming to have gd done for midweek next week, i'm down to well under 10,000 words (that includes the inherited junk Timar spotted). Not touching 3.5 until I've either made the november release or know for certain that I'll miss it :wink:

Can I just make sure it's only the 3.4 UI strings which are needed, not the Extensions etc?

Hi Michael,

Good question. There is one extension from the Extensions module that
is bundled with LibreOffice. So you may want to translate it for the
sake of completeness. It is NLPsolver. You can see it in Calc, choose
Tools -> Solver... menu, then on the Solver dialog press Options...
button. Two of the three solver engines are provided by NLPSolver: SCO
Evolutionary Algorithm and DEPS Evolutionary Algorithm.

Right, I'll put it onto my to-do list for the future but right now we can live without it. It's fairly specific, I'll be happy if people start moaning it's not in Gaelic because that'll mean they're using it.

Anyway, I'm a happy bunny tonight, I finished the translation and checked for bad fails. I'll remove the remaining tags over time but right now I really don't feel like removing over 2000 single quote tags :wink:

So what happens next, never been here. Is there some sort of a pre-release/nightly that I can play with or are we flying blind with my locale? A gross error check would be good but I'm fairly confident, and I'll be tweaking it for years to come anyway.

Time for Gaelic to rejoin the club, can't wait to add it to my signature :slight_smile:

Is it possible to alter the default settings for individual locales? My locale has particular problems with the default behaviour of apostrophes and the settings for automatically capitalizing initials/lowercasing.

I can give details of course but before I write an essay, I wanted to find out if that's possible :slight_smile:

I can't answer your question, but just wondering: does your locale have an Autocorrect dictionary? Can't these problems be solved by creating/improving it?
