Labelfile: inserting a label in between

I have a labelfile and can insert add new labels easily.
But I want to insert a label between two existing labels and do see any way how to do that. I tried ctrl-enter, shift-enter, and many more combinations. I did not find any relevant command in the toolbars.
Could anyone give me a hint how I should proceed?
