Bonjour,
Depuis que j'ai installé la 3.6.5 (j'avais la version 3.5.4 avant celle-ci) je constate des dysfonctionnements avec l"application Base. Le plus probant et le plus incontournable est qu'au moment ou je construis un rapport avec l'assistant (Sun report Builder version 1.2.3) et plus particulièrement lorsque j'essaie de définir la fonction Accumulation le système se plante, je récupère la main en "tuant" les tâches soffice.exe.
Pour les autres dysfonctionnements constatés j'attends de pouvoir confirmer les contextes.

De fait vu la longue liste des bugs ORB semble posé problème, cependant en 3.5.4 je pouvais faire la manip décrite alors: plus ça va moins ça va ...
Est-ce que l'environnement : Win XP pourrait être en cause, ou ce problème est constaté quelque soit le système d'exploitation?

En général, les problèmes sont indépendants de l'OS, mais parfois la
version de Java vient faire son cirque là-dedans pour la bonne mesure.
Le fait est que l'ORB est écrit en Java et chez les devs du projet LO,
ce n'est pas Java le langage de prédilection...il y aurait sûrement plus
d'engouement à intégrer un module Rapport si celui-ci était sous licence
LGPL et écrit en Python, et encore.
La plus bête/dommage dans l'histoire, c'est que l'on avait (a toujours)
du code déjà écrit en C++ qui permettait d'établir des rapports de BDD.
Certes, il était un peu basique, mais ça fonctionnait quand même. Au
lieu de poursuivre ou élargir ces jalons en C++, ce qui aurait tout de
même nécessité un certain effort d'investissement, l'équipe de Sun a
voulu miser sur l'intégration d'un produit basé sur le langage Java (ou
peut-être ont-ils été contraints par leur hiérarchie). LibreOffice ne
peut pas simplement arrêter de soutenir le module ORB tant qu'il n'y a
pas d'autre remplacement possible, et le souci est que le remplacement
(quelqu'il soit) demanderait aujourd'hui sans doute un assez gros
investissement en hommes heures et en temps. Donc c'est le serpent qui
se mord la queue, et en attendant, le truc se meurt...

Je continue à utiliser Base largement (LIBO 3.6.4 XP Pro au travail et 4.0.1
Kubuntu 12.04 at home). Mais j'ai oublié depuis longtemps ORB. J'exporte
tout sous Calc et je remets en page à la main. Pas glop comme méthode mais
je n'en ai pas d'autres.
Je n'ai pas de temps à perdre avec un ORB totalement obscur qui me mets 2 ou
3 items par page et qui me sort des rapports sur 1000 pages...
