Hi 
No, you don't need quick-starter running. Some people think they want it but
it's not vital. LibreOffice still starts up just about as quickly even if it's
not always running in the background like that. You can switch it off from
inside LibreOffice
Tools - Options - LibreOffice - Memory - "Enable Systray Quickstarter"
Just untick it

Yes, I have proved it in the meantime. I want to excluse, that 'soffice.exe'
is in the autostart.

You are right. You will see the wrong behavior too, if you close the
quickstarter icon in the task bar and then call quickstarter.exe
A bug report already exists.

I never use quickstarter. Are you sure you need it? I use an icon on the
desktop to start LO.
