LibreOffice 3.5 installation

Hello All,

I have noticed that it is different between the download pages of LibreOffice 3.5 for Linux (rpm) and Windows.

In download page for Linux has Translated User Interface (8MB) but it is not in
download page for Window. See this:

For Window: http://www.libreoffice.org/download35/?type=win-x86&lang=km&version=3.5.0

For Linux: http://www.libreoffice.org/download35/?type=rpm-x86_64&lang=km&version=3.5.0

Why they are different for Khmer?

Thanks,
Sokhem

Hi *,

I have noticed that it is different between the download pages of
LibreOffice 3.5 for Linux (rpm) and Windows.

In download page for Linux  has Translated User Interface (8MB) but it is
not in
download page for Window. See this:

That is because the WIndows installer already includes all the UI
translations. There is only one big installer for WIndows. Only
offline-Help is separate.

while on linux and mac the languagepack and helppack are separate.

ciao

Is something change in language setting?

I suppose you had to explicitly mark it for installation if your OS is not localized into Khmer.

Another victim of the install process

By magic, you're supposed to know that when installing, you must select Custom. Even if you chose Khmer for the download. Ya, I know, daft.

You're quickest route now is to start the install file again, choose Modify and then make sure you pick Custom and select Khmer, not English in the dropdown under "Additional language packs".

That's precisely the reason why I'm sticking with the old fashioned download page because I made sure that people know about this before downloading. (See http://gd.libreoffice.org/faigh-greim-air/)

Cheers
