[libreoffice-website] libreoffice.org redesign (WIP)

Hi all,

I wanted to get your feedback on the mail Ilmari sent to the website
list that I forward here.
This proposal to move to Hugo has an interesting effect for us,
translators/maintainers, we will have all the strings in Weblate  As
you can see in the link provided by Ilmari, KDE has developed a tool for
their use.
The idea also is to have uniform static websites with equal or less
content than the international one, but with no free content for the NL
communities.
Any thoughts on this?
Cheers
Sophie

I agree with Daniel.

Not only we can, sometimes we need.

Slovenian site already has some own pages, like the history of l10n, the
l10n credits etc. Would hate to lose that.

Also, with different status or requirements in a country because of the
penetration of LO in public services/administration there might be special
web pages/content required or desirable.

Well, while for most of the content that would be just fine, NL projects
need some space.
We can produce content too.

Hi Martin, all,

Couldn't these contents go to blog posts or be maintained in the wiki?
that's just a question
The aim is to reduce the maintenance needed because several NL
communities do not have the resource to take care of their website.
However a website has high visibility and it's great to have as many as
possible languages represented by a site and for that we need to find
solutions to lower the maintenance threshold.

Hi all,
Anything that speeds up the translation and updating of content, I'm in!
Just drop a note on where to find simple tutorials to get us started.
Thanks for the change, Ilmari.
