Hi to all.
I have a calc book in which some cells make reference to the contents of
some cells in another book.
I could easily vinculate the cells to the other book, I just wrote "=" in
the destination cell and then I made a simple click in the origin cell in
the other book. Amazing.
But now I have a little problem, if the origin cell change, the destination
cell doesn't, I have to close and reopen the book.
What I can do to see the changes in the dest cell?
I tried to read something online, but I didn't find nothing.
Thank you for your help.
Luca
I'm never sure under exactly what circumstances different techniques work, but you can try these:
o You probably need to save the source document after any changes have been made (but not necessarily to close it).
o There is a setting at Tools | Cell Content > | AutoCalculate which ought to achieve what you need (but I'm not sure always does).
o You can force a recalculation at Tools | Cell Content > | Recalculate or by pressing F9.
o Sometimes you will need to use Recalculate Hard, which is available at Ctrl+Shift+F9.
o If all else fails, there is a slightly simpler way than closing and reopening the target document: first save any changes if necessary, and then use File | Reload to stimulate the prompt about updating links.
I trust this helps.

Hi,
I'd add the following option which might help as well:
o Edit > Links, Update
