I have to reproduce a template where lists and bullets a used.
Page margins : 1,6 cm on left and right sides.
Paragraphs (body text) do have an additional 1,6 cm on the left and right
sides so that the real text is indented 3,2 cm from both sides of the page.
The headers numbering are not indented the same way.
I modified bullet 2 and numbering 2 list styles (understanding that if I
want different margins and indents I have to edit numbering 2 and bullet 2
and not numbering 1 or bullet 1 -- as I read in LO Help). Here is my setting
for bullet 2 list style and the three first levels (I combined 3 screenshots
in Gimp to create this picture).

After I edited paragraph style [Body text -> List -> Bullet 2] so that it
will use in [Plan et numérotation] tab (my LO is in french) the numbering
style Bullet 2. I have different indents on both sides in [Retraits et
espacement] tab. The screenshot below shows my settings:

My problem : sometimes indent is used by the bullet list, sometimes not.
When I choose the paragraph style bullet 2 the paragraph changes for a
bullet list (as it should be) but the margins are sometimes used, sometimes
not... The way indents are shown is always a surprise... Quite
frustrating...
I'm struggling with this problem since 3 days... Someone has a hint?
