You can EXPORT PDF directly from CALC. Then you have no need to copy/paste, just attach the pdf.

The Excel/Windows part bugs the heck out of me and I have not used it, but the people behind it are pretty serious.
It would be wonderful if there was a way to do this in LibreOffice Calc instead.
