maltese missing from translation team list and on pootle main page

I am wanting to join the maltese team and the pootle main page doesnt show it as being a language that LO is getting translated into. The maltese liason with the TDF warren camilleri has already started translations but its not listed anywhere. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Are you sure he has? I haven't heard of him or anyone else working on
Maltese. Unless of course he decided to use independent infrastructure
(that is, not our Pootle [1]) or is working offline. Either way, there's
no Maltese team listed on our wiki either (which would have been a good
thing) [2].

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

The translation process is highlighted in Translating LibreOffice wiki
page [3]. I don't see any Maltese files in the GIT repository [4] which
means you'll likely have to start from scratch and have a lot of work to
do. If you want, I can bootstrap Maltese locale on Pootle and make you
(or Warren) the admin for this language. All you'd have to do is give me
your username(s) and actually enlist your team in the wiki [2].

Hi Rimas,

as for maltese this is what i have (see attached file)
please make me admin as i will be looking over jonathens and other members works to be posted my good self to the system, i admit i am new to pootle and have been working on the local sub site rather then the app itself .

No attachment, I guess the list robot stripped it. You may want to send it to me personally, or just upload those .po files to their relevant locations in Pootle (you are now an admin for Maltese).

Im just a contributor rimas, Warren will be making sure the
translations are correct.

Alright, in that case you currently have the rights to view the
projects, download translatable files and to make translation
suggestions. Warren can grant you more rights if/when he thinks it's
fine (he should see the Permissions tab on
https://translations.documentfoundation.org/mt/). Or you guys can
contact the L10n list (I hope you have subscribed to it already?) and
ask Pootle admins to adjust your rights as needed.
