Minor wiki detail: getting rid of translatable categories

In the wiki there are category pages in the form of Category:Thing. Most of these do not contain any explanatory text and the ones that do have something self-evident like "Pages related to Thing". They are listed in https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Special:Categories

Probably due to a practice of copying & pasting from older pages, some category pages contain an OrigLang template, which has lead to the creation of translated category pages. However, they usually don't even have a translation of the explanatory text (if there even is such a text in the original).

I would like to remove these unnecessary pages to reduce the complexity of the wiki. Please let me know, if there are objections to the idea.
