Missing function

The LO instructions refer to "insert-file" but I cannot find any such in my copy of LO. Please advise how to run this function since my need is to do just that--insert or add a file to another. LO 5.3.03

In Writer: Insert > Document...
In Calc: Sheet > Insert Sheet from File...
In Impress: Insert > File

Hi.
In 5.0.6 it is at the bottom of the insert menu. In 5.2 it is 3rd up from the bottom. It is Insert>Document.

Try Insert > Document

Depending on your needs, in addition to the Insert -> Document menu entry...
might also look at Insert -> Object -> OLE Object and select the "Create
from file" radio button.
