New Locale

Hi guys,

I'm sort of (I don't think there's a formal process as yet) locale leader for Scots Gaelic. My intention was to work on the update of OO first before (long story) also working on LO but things have precipitated. I don't know what's going on, OO is not answering to any emails, but their Pootle server has been down for a week now. So I guess the move to LO has been fast-forwarded. Luckily I did a backup 2 days before it went dead.

I've just registered on https://translations.documentfoundation.org as akerbeltz, could someone please add Scottish Gaelic (gd) to the list of languages, add all the projects to the locale and grant me admin rights over the locale please?

There will also be the issue of plural rules for gd - unless we're somehow automatically drawing on http://translate.sourceforge.net/wiki/l10n/pluralforms#g ?

Thanks a lot!

Michael

Hi Michael,

the locale please?

Welcome to the LibreOffice l10n team. I granted you the necessary
rights, you are project admin of Scottish Gaelic now. Next translation
deadline (for LibreOffice 3.4.1) is Sunday, June 12, 2011 12:00 UTC.

There will also be the issue of plural rules for gd - unless we're somehow
automatically drawing on
http://translate.sourceforge.net/wiki/l10n/pluralforms#g ?

Gettext plural forms feature is not used in LibreOffice po files.

Best regards,
Andras
