Hi
Usually articles are forwarded to the Marketing Team. However there are
too many of them so only 1 or 2 are ever sent there.
This one has some uncomplimentary stuff in it so whoever forwards it is
likely to receive heavy criticism and personal attacks. Anyone defending
them is likely to receive the same sort of attacks.
It contains the old flame-war issues;
1. a couple people say "unstable" but only grumble about features not
working, not about their computer or even just LibreOffice crashing. So it
looks like they really mean "broken". They don't mention which branch they
were using but my guess would be early versions of the "Fresh" branch and
that they have no idea that those features probably work fine in "Still".
2. a few people mention about bugs not being fixed and simple things being
broken = which leads to the old argument about users being told to either;
* dive into learning programming or
* pay someone to fix those bugs themselves
If people come to this mailing list with the sorts of grumbles in the
comments there then we would probably have fixed their problems quite
quickly. Most likely by just getting them to go back to the "Still"
branch. However it's easier for people to grumble outside of the project
in a place where they are unlikely to get any help rather than to risk
finding their problem has an easy answer.

Tom
