Open fails, looks like chinese

I'm trying to use calc to format some Ordnance Survey data.
It consists of 201 rows of 201 values.
The values are all short ascii numeric, such as 123.4

It seems to think the data is a long string of what looks (to me) like
chinese characters.

I downloaded an up-to-date copy of Calc, with the same result.

Am attaching the offending .csv.
I am surprised with the result. I've since tried to read other OS files,
.csv or .asc.
They are all producing 'chinese'.

You need to choose Character Set=System Language=English(USA) and check
"Separated by" "Space" "Merge delimiters"

With these settings I didn't have any odd results...

Hope this helps...

Thanks for trying,

Works fine for me.

How are you trying to import the data? What are the settings on the Text
Import Dialog?

Thank you,
Yes, The Problem is Solved.
My problem, 'I'm too impetuous', will probably never be solved !

Hi
Attachments don't work on mailing lists which is why we have been trying to
help you figure out how to upload to Nabble.
