OpenOffice reference

In desktop / source / deployment / misc.po the string is:

KeyID v9kB - "Extension requires at least OpenOffice.org reference version
%VERSION"
KeyID Atmk - "Extension does not support OpenOffice.org reference versions
greater than %VERSION"

Is this correct? Shouldn´t be %PRODUCTNAME or LibreOffice?

Hi Sérgio

I don't think so, because in that specific case, the extension version number is indexed with OpenOffice.org version. You should keep the name OpenOffice.org.

Now that we have our own repository, when keep referencing oo.org ? In any
case, we mean the same thing by versions 3.0 compatibility which is
mentioned by the extensions.

Hi Lior

Changing the name will affect may extensions that are already set for OOo and works seamlessly with LibreOffice. This issue will sometime in the future be addressed by the development.

Hi Lior, *;

Now that we have our own repository, when keep referencing oo.org ?

It is referring to the API compatibility. It is not referencing the
OOo extension repository. The repository does have nothing to do with
the mentioned UI-String.

In any
case, we mean the same thing by versions 3.0 compatibility which is
mentioned by the extensions.

Only as long as the versions themselves are identical api wise, but
that might as well change in the future when new, LibreOffice only API
is introduced, etc.

See http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/libreoffice/2011-November/020174.html
for details.

PS: Please adapt a mailing-list-suitable quoting style. Fullquotes
suck. Text above what is referred to sucks as well.
