Part of File is Missing

I had a 26 page file of 61 KB. I saved the file. When I went to open it again, the first page was blank, the second page was there, and the third page was a blank. Nothing more was there.

My computer shows that the file is still there and is 61KB.

Is the file hiding somewhere? Is there anything I can do to recover it?

I am using Libreoffice ver. 4.1.4.2 and Windows 7-64bit.

Thanks.

Carole

Hi
Which format was the file saved in? Do you know if it's .docX, .doc
or .Odt? Can you upload the file to Nabble? (errr, is it
confidential such as containing people's names and addresses (in which
case DONT post it!))

Find the correct thread, reply to any message and notice the buttons
above where you are supposed to type. The "More" button allows you to
upload file and that injects a bit of html code into the message. You
can move the html code around a bit if you like and even edit it if
you know html already. Usually the default way it does it is good
enough so it's worth keeping as is.

Do you have a back-up copy somewhere, perhaps an auto-backup? Is the
file saved on a local network and accessed on the local Win7 machine?
Do you have another version, perhaps a slightly earlier version on a
usb-stick or emailed to someone/yourself, on a Cd/dvd or up on
Facebook or CLoud or somewhere?

What happens if you try to select all the apparently non-existant
text? Is it just the font colour changed to match the background?
