paste from calc to writer table

Hi
What i'd like to do now is select part of a row of cells in calc and copy the contents to a corresponding part of a row of cells in a writer table. Can i do this?
It seems paste (= paste calc) inserts a text box, paste unformatted inserts all the format marks as characters, paste rtf enters all the text into every selected writer cell.
