Pasted Text inside a "box"

It happens quite often when I paste something I want to save. The box can
be holding a lot of text and you have to stay in it to add your own text.
It's not a table because a right click doesn't bring up table options. I
tried paragraph formate from the right cliick and checked no borders. No
luck.

Thanks so much to anyone who can tell me how I can fix this. It's
irritating.

Hi.
Is it in a frame.
If you Paste Special>Unformatted text (right click or edit menu) you should be able to paste without any carry over from the copy.
