Printing selected text to PDF

With most documents it is usually not a problem to select the PDF option
and have it go straight to the printer. However, in Calc especially, one
often wants to only send selected cells to PDF. However there does not seem
to be an option to do this in the same way that one has if one selects the
Print option. Or am I missing something.

Hello,

When you go to the PDF export panel (File -> Export as PDF), there is a
radio button called "Selection". Selecting this button will export only
the highlighted (selected) cells.

In 5.2.x File > Export as PDF then click the "Selection" radio button.
This will print selected cells or selected sheets. For 5.3.x the wording
might be slightly different and this might become the default. See:
