I can not finish installing the extension office for libre. at the end of the installation the message "Could not create Java Implementation Loader". in all extensions. I java 7th. and in Java 6 works well.

You are still not clear on what you are trying to do.

Which version of LibreOffice are you trying to install? Which operating system?
LO 3.4.6? LO 3.5.1? or a different version?
Windows XP? Vista? Win7?
32-bit or 64-bit?

We need to know these things to try to help you better.

Are you installing LibreOffice on Windows, or you have it installed and you are trying to install an extension to LibreOffice [like installing Writer's Tools or Pagination].

As far as I know, Java 6 works well and needs to be installed before you install LibreOffice.

Also, many people seem to have trouble if they have Java 7 installed.

If you are trying to install the LibreOffice package, please remove Java 7 and reinstall Java 6 so it will be the default one. Then LibreOffice should have no problems installing.

Then you should also be able to install any extension after you make sure LibreOffice shows your version of Java in its proper place. That place is "Tools / Options / Java". Also make sure the check mark is in the box for "Use a Java runtime environment"

My system shows a black dot next to Java version 1.6.0_26, which is Java 6 update 26. IT also shows version 1.6.0_20, but that black dot is not showing it as the version I will be using.

Maybe find a mailing list in your own language?

Perhaps try

Tools - Options - Java

on a Mac that would be

LibreOffice - Preferences - Java

to see what version of java you have installed.

right. so I have nothing.

I use Windows XP [32-bit] and Vista [32-bit] on my laptops, plus Ubuntu [64-bit] as my main desktop.

As I said, some people are having problems with Java 7 on their Windows systems when installing LibreOffice. I know for a fact that Java 6 works well for XP, Vista, and Win 7. That is why I stated that you should try Java 6 instead of Java 7, if you cannot install LibreOffice on a computer with Java 7 installed.

the good. or do not improve?

Hi
The best 2 versions of java are probably the

1.6u21
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javasebusiness/downloads/java-archive-downloads-javase6-419409.html#jdk-6u21-b07-oth-JPR

1.7u3
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk-7u3-download-1501626.html
The 1.7 ... branch is not yet ready to be properly released so it might be good to try whichever release is most recent on
http://java.com/pl/
for your operating system.  Probably the 1.6u31.

If the 1.6u31 doesn't work then try the 1.7u3 and if that doesn't work the 1.6u21 should.  The most recent versions of LibreOffice use the latest versions of java.  LibreOffice prior to the 3.4.5 seem to prefer the 1.6u21.

Once you have found the best version for you then it's best to remove the others.  Keep the most recent one for other programs such as web-browsers.  This might mean you have 2 versions of java at the same time for a while, at least until you can upgrade LibreOffice.

Good luck and regards from

31

Hi
If the 6u31 works then i might be interesting to try the 6u21 just to see if there is an improvement but only if you have time to spare.  The 31 has less exploits and vulnerabilities so it's probablty better just to stick with the 31

Thanks for letting us known the issue is fixed now
