Re-docking the formatting bar

my sympathy to you; I feel very frustrated when this happens to me -
           finally, I've learned that it's due to the sensitivity of these
new computers ...
         and the solution is to plop it back into place.
      You can't just drag it, you must
          hold down the Control key while double clicking the Slide Pane.

I don't know what happened, but it seems ot be back in place. I
didn't do anything except give up on it.

The wonders of modern computers....
